His eye's had always been dark. dark and cold. unseeing orbs that would pierce your heart with one glance.

Here eye's always held light. light and warmth. sparkling gems that lifted the soul to new heights.

They were twins. light and dark. perfect balance. she warmed his soul, and he kept her light from overwhelming levels.

Then HE came. HE stole her heart. making it burn against her brother.

His eyes grew darker each day she was away, unseating the balance. the skys grew cloudy, lightning flashing but never striking.

Her light grew brighter without her brother to dim it. it became to much for HIM to stay near. without so much of a good bye, HE left. Heart broken her light dimmed, almost going out.

She returned to her brother but her light was to dim to brighten his darkness.

The balance was broken.

Slowly as time dragged on, forever in a storm, her heart healed. yet, her light was never the same.

Just when the balance was starting to restore.

SHE appeared.

the streets

Maria sighed, two months to the day since they had ecaped. life on the out side wasn't what they had been expecting. living on the streets wasn't fun but it was better then the lab. tom Dusten were out scalfeging for food, she was supost to be looking for jobs but who would take some homeless kids who didn't know anything.

but they would learn, if anyone took the time to teach them. but who would? everyone was too wrapped up in their own problems to notice three smart homeless children.

the first time Tom had come back with bruses, was the day they relised not everything was better on the outside, the day Dusten had come back bleeding was the day the disided they couldn't trust anyone but each other.

as time went on they were forced to learn how to fight, to hide, to steal. it was how they survied. Maira glanced down at the two sleeping, now teenagers, on her leg. it was her turn to watch.

they didn't trust the streets enough to sleep peacefully with out a watcher. they learned this the hard way.

softly she begain to sing, low enough that it wouldn't travel far but high enough that her boys would hear it. even in sleep they leaned toward the voice they knew they could trust. it was sad really. they had travled all this way to find that things here weren't any better then in the lab.

the only good thing that came from this, was freedom, such as it was, there were days she thought maybe it wasn't worth it, but as soon as the thought entered her head she would bansh it.

the song she sung had stayed in her memories even through everything she had endoured. there was one small memory of a woman, she asumed it was her mother, singing it to her when she was little.

it was the only memory that hadn't abanded her. some nights she would lay awake even when it wasn't her turn, and try over and over to remember, but to no avail.
they were gone for good.

she broshed some hair out of Dustens face, this was her life now, the memories didn't matter anymore. when she had disided that it was like a huge weight was lifted off of her.

these two teenagers were what she lived for, what she got up in the morrning for. the ones that would never turn their back on her, nor would she to them.

Marie smiled, with them backing each other up there was nothing they couldn't do.

marked

the day they carved the mark on to her back, was the day she forgot everything. she was the first experiment to survive however, she wasn't the last.

two others survived with her, twin boys. the three knew of each other, but they had never met.

until now. all three were brought to the same room then left alone. they stared at one another, the younger one waved shyly from behind his brother.

she frowned confused, but waved back, trying to copy his hand. it seemed right like she had done this before, maybe in a dream.

when no one came to get them day after day they relised this was their room now. the older brother took her under his protection and she them.

"one day we'll get out of here, we'll learn how to live out there. to be happy" said the younger brother one day. she nodded, as she gave him his portion of food.

little did they know that day was closer then they thought.

about a year after meting the lab's west wing burned down. taking advantge of the confustion she and the twins slipped out when no one was looking. they ran, ran faster then they had ever done before, and not once did they ever look back.

seven years later , Marie, Tom (older) and Dusten (younger) were living together with familys and friends. memories of days past far from their minds.

Slave

she was lost. the woods were dark and hard to see, but she daired not stop. he was right behind her, enjoying her terror. she wished he would leave her alone. but no matter how much she hoped, he never did.

"Your mine" he would wesiper in her ear while she slept. at the time he was content just to watch her, but no more. he had waited long enough in his mind, it was time to take his bride.

she ran, ran with all her stranth. it was hopeless, he could have caught her at any time. but, her fear exited him.

she triped.

he pounced.

a scream echoed, it was high and pearcing. but, he payed no heed to it, he had what he wanted. she tremmbled when his eiry golden eyes locked with hers, and slowly her heart beat slowlled, her breathing shalow.

wings spreed out from behind him, and with one powerful jump, they were flying across the moon. she screamed, afraid of the highth. he held her close. wesipering comfurts in her ear.

but she heard none of them.

he landed in his castle home high above the trees. nesseled in the side of a cliff. none who entered ever ecaped.

gently he set her sleeping form in the center of many pillows, her body fit perfectly. a menicing grin spread across his face. she would be a nice addition to his 'colection'. he thought glancing over to four other girls.

they whimpered when his eyes landed on them. smearking he flew up to his perch, watching those below. they would never be free of him, many had tried, all had failed.

Dancer

Dance, was her life. that's what she thought of all day long, it was hard for her to stand still even for a moment. on some days she would just go out to some field just to sway with the wind under the stairs.

he would wait all day for her to show up, just to see her dance. he would sit in a tree and wish he could dance with her. but he couldn't, she couldn't see him, no one could.

so he watched her, hovered over her as she slept as her Guardian Angel. longing to talk to her, to let her know she was safe.

she could feel eyes on her, but she could never find them, even though they followed her everywhere. when one day. they were gone. just like that the eyes that showered her with love, that made her feel like someone, were gone.

As she grew up, and made her way in the dancing world, she never forgot those times in the field. those eyes that embraced her. always wondering where they went, who they belonged to and why they left.

she may never know.

wanta story?

Chapter one.
She was sleeping, and had been for so long. how long had it been? no one knew and those who did were long dead. she was the child born from light and snow. there was a time where people loved her, but that time has pasted.

She fell in love with young boy, Sojen, he was called. strong, intelligent, but mute. he was an out cast when she stumbled across him, he was sleeping in the grass when she tripped over him, it was a start of a great friendship. however, many sought to have her power and used him to get it.

in her rage, her powers got out of control, creating the largest storm since her birth. none were speared, not even Sojen. after she had calmed down and regained control she locked herself away, and closed her heart to all.

here she lies sleeping, reliving the times she had with Sojen. for that was all she had left of him. it would be over seven hundred years before another would find her resting place. one who would restore life in her, and the wintry land around her. this one, who held the key to her heart, would unlock secrets not even she knew she had.

Hi everyone

HI !!!!!

My name is Shannon I'm the quite shy type, don't talk too much, well to other people that is, with my family and friends I'm hard to shut up.

I like anime.....a lot. most of my day, after I get off work, is taken up by me reading fanfiction on the internet. ether that or looking at anime pics.

The anime's I like are, Naruto(I see this a lot), Inuyasha ( Sesshomaru and Rin are the best), Wolfs rain, Vampire knights (I love Zero!!! and Kaname I guess), Teen Titans (not really a anime but oh well), Shogo Chara (Ikuto is the most cuitest thing), and Trinity Blood (its not as dark as it sounds) there are others but I cant think of them
